Auto responders are emails that are automatically generated and sent based on specific criteria. For example, when a new user signs up, they will receive a congratulatory email, with some next steps. Using the power of placeholders, emails can be personalized with detailed information specific to the recipient. 


Auto responders are system defaults. Administrators are able to activate and deactivate auto responders. They can also edit the text of any auto-responder.


Auto-responders are accessible from the left sidebar in the admin panel: under the "Email" tab, select "Auto Responders".







Below are the default Auto-Responders in the system :

Invited Registration Confirmation

Email sent to Registrant notifying them that registration is complete after they were invited by a team member.


Member Donation Notification

Email sent to Fundraiser notifying them of a donation made towards a goal.

 

Member Goal Notification

Email sent to a Fundraiser notifying them that their goal has been reached.


Member Offline Donation Verified Notification

Email sent notifying a Fundraiser that the offline donation (cash/check) they entered has been verified by an Administrator and will reflect in their goal.


Offline Donation Received

Email sent notifying a Fundraiser that an offline donation (cash/check) has been received and entered by an Administrator. (The Administrator must verify the donation for it to reflect in their goal)


Offline Donation Verified

Email sent notifying a Fundraiser that an offline donation (cash/check) that had been entered by an Administrator has been verified and will now reflect in their goal.


Online Donation Confirmation

Email sent to a Donor confirming their donation. This email will act as a receipt for their donation.


Password Reminder

Email sent to a Registrant who has forgotten their password. This email will allow the registrant to reset their password and access their Headquarters (HQ).


Refund Donation Notification

Email sent to Donor to notify them that a refund has been processed.


Registration Confirmation

Email sent to a Registrant who completes their registration from a desktop to confirm their registration. The email will include any fees associated with the registration.


Registration (via Admin) Confirmation

Email sent to a Registrant whose registration was completed by an Administrator on the back-end


Registration (via Mobile) Confirmation

Email sent to a Registrant who completes their registration from a mobile device to confirm their registration. The email will include any fees associated with the registration. This email is more concise than a Registration Confirmation from a desktop.


Registration Team Confirmation

Email sent to a Registrant who was registered by another Fundraiser and chosen to join a team. This email will include a registration confirmation and log-in details.

 

Registration Team Confirmation RallyBound Member

Email sent to a Registrant who was registered by another Fundraiser. The RallyBound system recognizes the registrant has previously registered on our site so these campaigns are included, along with a link to reset their password in the instance they have forgotten.


RSVP Confirmation

Email sent to a Registrant who has indicated they will physically be attending the event. This acts as the Registration Confirmation/receipt of RSVP.


Support Request Confirmation

Email sent to User who submits a support form as a confirmation of form submission.


Team Donation Notification

Email sent to a Team Captain notifying them that a donation has been received.


Team Goal Notification

Email sent to a Team Captain notifying them that their team goal has been reached.


Team Join Confirmation

Email sent to a Fundraiser confirming they have joined a team.


Team Join Notification

Email sent to a Team Captain notifying them that a Fundraiser has joined their team.


Team Offline Donation Verified Notification

Sent to Team Captain notifying them that an Offline Donation, that had been entered by an Administrator, has been verified and will not be attributed to the team goal.


User to Donor Thank You

Email from a Fundraiser to their Donor, thanking them for the donation.


User to User Registration Invite

Email sent to a Fundraiser’s contacts to join their Team. This view would appear during the registration process (detailed) or after (quick) when a Fundraiser is identifying if they are solo or will be joining a team, The Fundraiser will be prompted to invite others to join their Team and this is the content of that email.

 

Verify Email

Email sent to Registrants who were identified as a Fundraiser (this can be for someone who registered themselves or were registered by someone else). There will be a “Verify Email” placeholder included in the Registration Confirmation email but if this link has not been clicked and a fundraiser attempts to send an email through their Headquarters (HQ) a pop-up will appear that will send this email. Once the fundraisers email has been confirmed they will be given access to sending emails through their Headquarters (HQ).


Recurring Donation Instance Confirmation

Email sent to a Donor acknowledging that a recurring payment was allocated towards a specific fundraiser or team. This is an auto-responder that includes a donation confirmation (for tax receipts).


Recurring Donation Instance Member Notification

Email sent to a Fundraiser notifying them of a recurring donation instance made towards their goal. This is a single transaction that is not scheduled for a future donation.


Recurring Donation Instance Team Notification

Email sent to a Team/Team Captain notifying them of a recurring donation instance made towards the team goal. This is a single transaction that is not scheduled for a future donation.


Recurring Donation Plan Confirmation

Email sent to a Donor acknowledging that a recurring plan has been created. This is an auto-responder that includes a donation confirmation (for tax receipts).


Recurring Donation Plan Member Notification

Email sent to a Fundraiser notification them that a recurring plan has been created that will apply towards their goal.


Recurring Donation Plan Team Notification

Email sent to a Team/Team Captain notifying them that a recurring plan has been created that will apply towards their goal.
